This activity focuses on people in settlements and crop farming.
It consists of:
- establishing a system for supplying agricultural development activities in pastoral areas with agricultural inputs and technology as and when needed;
- establishing finance and credit facilities.
This system is intended to:
- be based on credit incentives for private traders;
- organize people in what are described as ‘pastoral cooperatives’, especially targeting women and youth as producers and distributers in the supply chain of agricultural development activities.
