Enhancing resilience to food security shocks in Africa

The DFID, World Bank and USAID discussion paper on “Enhancing resilience to food security shocks in Africa” (2012, 72pp) brings together thinking on what is meant by the concept of resilience and some of the principles that are fundamental to it. Several references are made to food security and resilience of agropastoralists and pastoralists in Eastern Africa.
