Unfolding pastoralism in Uganda

The Uganda Land Alliance has brought out a special issue of its newsletter (December 20121) entitled “Unfolding Pastoralism”. It includes articles on community-based animal healthcare services, laws related to pastoralism in Uganda, community consultations on the Uganda rangelands policy, securing land rights of the Karamajong and the empowerment of women in pastoralist communities. One article features the Coalition for Pastoral Civil Society Organisations (COPACSO), which was elected the national coordinator of CELEP in Uganda at CELEP’s annual meeting held in Brussels in October 2012.
